Who We Are

Engineering excellence.
Operational discipline.

Quantra Consulting Engineers was established in 1998 and has operated as a fully independent civil engineering practice since 2006. Headquartered in Mossel Bay with regional offices in Jeffreys Bay, Durban, and Pretoria, the firm serves both public and private sector clients across all nine provinces.

Led by Carel Kuun Pr.Eng. — a registered Professional Engineer with over three decades of infrastructure experience — the practice is built on technical rigour, disciplined execution, and an unwavering commitment to quality. Our multidisciplinary team brings specialist capability in transportation design, stormwater engineering, structural analysis, contract administration, and construction supervision.

We hold an extensive track record of delivering infrastructure for SANRAL, provincial road authorities, and major local municipalities. From concept through construction, we engineer infrastructure that performs.
